The Game Changer's Brutal Lies

More than likely you have heard about, or watched, a propaganda movie called  The Game Changers . Many people have asked me about it and wanted my take on it. I reluctantly watched it because I figured it was just another propaganda hit piece on meat…and I was not surprised by the fact that it was absolutely a hit piece. What did take me a little by surprise were the brutal lies that were told. In this article, I will focus on two of the brutal lies, which should help you put the rest of the foolish movie into perspective. If you did watch  The Game Changers , you should remember the hamburger study, which was cited twice by James Wilks in a disingenuous fashion. First, he claimed that eating a single hamburger will increase inflammation by 70%. Second, he stated that eating a single hamburger will reduce blood flow by 27%. The first thing that you should know is that the title of the burger article was shown for just a split second at 28:30 and is easily missed in the v...

Why you should assure an adequate iodine intake

Iodine is most known for its relationship to the production of thyroid hormones. Not well known is that iodine also functions as a key antioxidant that protects cell membrane fatty acids from free radical attack. This is important for all cell membranes, however, in the context of disease risk, it is especially important for protection against breast cancer and prostate cancer (1,2). The Japanese population consumes between 1000-3000 micrograms (mcg) per day (1), which is derived largely from seaweed and less from fish. It turns out that seaweed and fish are natural sources of both omega-3 fatty acids and iodine, which is one of the reasons why a traditional Japanese diet is so healthy and associated with minimal disease risk. Iodine naturally complexes with cell membrane fatty acids to create what is called an iodolipid, which is resistant to free radical attack compared to fatty acids without iodine (2). In the United States, the upper limit recommendation for iodine is only 11...

Drs Rosa and Seaman write a chapter in Jack Canfield’s new book

A success plan for pain-free living: an antidote for the opioid crisis As most people know, there is an opioid crisis in America. Not well known is that opioids have been one of the most common prescribed medications in America for several decades. My friend and colleague Dr. John Rosa is an opioid crisis expert and functions as a White House Surrogate/Consultant and a Law Enforcement Consultant (Homeland Security, DOJ, DEA). He was asked by Jack Canfield’s people to write a chapter for Jack’s new book to be released in early 2019 entitled The Recipe for Success. As I have spent many years writing about pain and inflammation, he invited me to coauthor the chapter with him. If you like the chapter and interview, you are welcome to share them on social media or however you choose. You can download the chapter here. We were also interviewed by Jack for his show Hollywood Live, which you can view here: See more related blog: https://drdavidseaman.blogspot.com/2020/04/in-rec...
